How do you know when what you are doing is God's will?
For me I can tell when I hit a roadblock with "MY PLANS". If I want things a certain way and try to make that happen, and I hit roadblocks at every turn, I can tell it is not the plan my HP has in mind for me.
Each day I ask God to be with me throughout the day. I tell him to use me as His instrument for those around me. I ask him to whisper in my ear what HE wants me to hear.
Most days my days go great....because i allow HIM to guide my actions and my words. But once in a while....I want to take over and it jsut does not work out.
I'd love to hear what others do.

Hi Lin, what a great share, thanks!
For this alkie, I get up in the morning, get on my knees and ask God to please help me to stay sober today, spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically sober. Asking God for the knowledge of HIS will and the power to carry that out.
I then get up and go about my day, putting one foot in front of the other and simply do the next right thing in front of me, whether I like it or not. lol As you stated so well Lin, if those road blocks mount, if walls keep coming up, if doors keep closing, then its not God's Will, and I take another road, praying for God's Will, not mine be done.....Amen.
