I was not sure what section to post this, but I hope I will get an answer.

Last week my "windows crashed". I had my computer worked on and now I don't have the right java plug in to get into any chatrooms. It said java plug in fatal error and then it said jave runtime failed to load.

Could somebody please tell me where I need to go to get the java plug in and exactly which one I need to get? I have Windows XP.

If you google 'java' it will bring up a free download site ... hope that is what you are looking for ...

Tahnks Carol. I did that. I was not sure if there was a certain one this site required or what. I guess I'll download one and see if it works.

I'm not an expert but I don't know that there is a special java for different sites ... and if it doesn't work, you can always uninstall it !!

I went to java.com It used to be called SUN. I downloaded and it worked jsut fine. I difernet box pops up..the old was jsut a cup of coffee and then it loaded. Now a big box says java and it loads. But it WORKS.!
