Step Ten: Continued to take personal inventory and
when we were wrong promptly admitted it.

"Our inventory enables us to settle with the past. When
this is done, we are really able to leave it behind us. When
our inventory is carefully taken, and we have made peace
with ourselves, the conviction follows that tomorrow's
challenges can be met as they come."

Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions, pg. 89

This is an in today program. Anything that I act out as a result of my past, I need to look at and change in today. It was important for me to address old patterns and behaviors to see what no longer served me in good stead in today. When I go to a meeting and this Step is discussed, it always seems as though I need to be more vigilant. This Step reminds me that for every finger I point at someone else, I have three pointing back at me.

As the 12 & 12 says, "When I find fault in another, there is something being reflected from within me." This was not easy to accept. It was too easy to play the blame game and not take responsibility for my own thoughts and actions.

Love Always,

Each Day is a New Beginning, so have a great one.
