I am grateful today that my back feels so much better and I am motivated to get some more things done as I organize for winter and the upcoming holidays. As always grateful for family, friends, and AEB.
HUGS,

LET GO LET GOD
As children bring their broken toys with tears for us to mend,
I brought my broken dreams to God, because He was my friend.
I hung around and tried to help, with ways that were my own.
At last, I snatched them back and cried, "How can you be so slow?"
"My child," He said,
"What could I do? You never did let go."

I'm grateful for having a doctor who's been in recovery for over 35 years and can relate to my situation. I hesitated for a long time to take pain meds for fear that would screw up my clean time. I told him that. We talked about it for a good half hour (ever hear of a doctor consulting for more than 5 minutes?) He first reassured me that the medication is prescribed by a doctor for a real ailment and as long as I followed his orders and didn't abuse the drug, I would be OK. He told me that the withdrawal from the pain meds is about 4 or 5 days of discomfort and thats it. He still left it up to me. Did I want to live in excruciating pain and not be able to move or did I want to eventually have a few days of discomfort? Now that was a tough question. Took me a whole 10 seconds to decide. Now I have to decide if I want them to stick needles in my back or not. That decision will take a while longer. I'm grateful I can live an almost normal life being very careful how I move so as not to set off the pain. Maybe in a few months I'll be grateful fr having needles stuck into my back and be grateful for steroids.

I am grateful that I can come here and don't have to look at 101 cut and paste messages. It is nice to see others posting.

Thanks for sharing this, it is awesome and different from others I've seen and saved. Never forget that
"All Gave Some,
Some Gave All,
And Some Are Still Giving."
For them before, now and who will come later I am so grateful. Ofcourse grateful for the fact that many of my family have served and come home alive.

I can totally relate Dean. Iabout a month ago my computer crashed on a Thrusday night. I had a tech come to my house on Friday and another come on Saturday and back on Sunday. The Saturday tech took it home and worked on it and brought it back. I paid weekend repair rates for the fix, but I had it back inless than 4 days. I was totally beside myself.

Glad we are BOTH up and running.

What was with the computers the past month? Did they declare a holiday? Just about everyone I know has had a crash or even a server downage (is that a word?). It is so frustrating and brings on the withdrawals very fast for this old gal.
So I'm certainly grateful today that mine is up and running. I'm also grateful that I was able to help my daughter and SIL this morning with a special project and be back home before any family here was awake. I have it quiet and some self reflextion time. HAve a good day all and hope your fave driver/team wins today. Go Jimmy, Go Browns. YAHOO BUCKEYES!!
