I find it is a good tool for me to say or write what I am grateful for each day. Thought we could try it here. If this needs to be moved to another part of the forum, go ahead.

Today I am grateful for:

1. My Higher Power.

2. My sobriety.

3. Being smoke free.

4. My health.

5. My family.

6. My friends.

7. A home to come back to at the end of the day.

8. My pets.

9. People who understand me today.

10. Each day that I am upright, breathing, walking and talking.

11. That I can laugh at myself today.

When I wake up in the morning and both eyes open and my head don't hurt I am going to have a good day and I personally don't care what the rest of the world does. :-)

Looking at things positive is what makes staying sober worth well.

3) My mental, emotional, spiritual and physical sobriety.

4) My home group.

5) My bridge club.

6) My friends and family.

7) My computer which gave me a scare today, thought it was going to go belly up.

8) My job, even though it is a volunteer position it gets me out and about and working with others.

9) My God who works in my life, some days more than others.

Love Always,

Each Day is a New Beginning, so have a great one.

I'm grateful for the journey that brought me to where my feet are TODAY.

And I'm grateful for the loving and patient G-d who saw the greatness in me when I couldn't.

Today I am grateful for being just one day away from tomorrow. I have to be at the hospital for 7:45 a.m. and as most of you know, I don't do mornings well.

I am grateful that my doctors are looking after me. My rheumatologist put me on Vitamin D capsules. I have never heard of taking a tablet once a week for 12 weeks. Strange!

I am grateful to you my friend for starting this thread. My sponsor told me many years ago, an alcoholic/addict will never have reason to pick up. He/She may find lots of excuses, but no reason.

Love Always,

Each Day is a New Beginning, so have a great one.

*sending positive thought and prayers for Jo*

At this given moment:

I'm grateful for warm fuzzy jammies and glow in the darn jack-o-lantern slippers.
(yes, it's been a longggggg day)

I'm grateful for messengers that G-d puts in my path to remind me about what's truly important.

And I'm grateful that I'm never, ever, EVER alone in this deal called 'life'.

~~~True ambition is the deep desire to live usefully and walk humbly under the grace of G-d.~~~
I'm grateful that not only are things getting better for you, but you're keeping us informed along the way. I guess another way to put it is that I'm grateful that you're grateful. lol
I rememebr teh rat pack. I was not aware Deqan Martin was from Ohio. I do remember many times when he performed and it was so obcvious he was drinking.
Today I am grateful that my computer has been fixed. It crashed last week and it took me 4 days to get it fixed. I put a RUSH on it...or it woudl have taken longer.
Amazing how quickly you can get something done if you say...NO MATTER WHAT IT COSTS...
1) I am grateful that I have hope for tomorrow. I get to go to a bridge individual tournament tomorrow afternoon.
2) I am grateful that my cold is better and that my fever has dropped.
3) I am grateful that my eyesight is better and I can see to read. I have a lot of books to catch up on.
4) I am grateful for my meditation cards. I did a meditation tonight and got the Eagle which means Spirit, the Swan, which means gift. My name means "God's gracious gift." I also got the Spider which tells me to go within and trust my own intuition and knowingness. I got the Bear which is also a totem animal which means to dream my dreams. The crystal I got was amber to balance scattered energies and the rune I pulled was the Spiritual Warrior.
5) I am grateful that I felt like cooking instead of grabbing a sandwich or going out for supper. Tonight I had peas and carrots, new potatoes, and ham steak with a chili sauce. For dessert I had a cookie (bought at the market) with no sugar and lots of fruit and fibre along with a banana.
6) I am grateful for my spiritual advisor. She told me to do the meditation and to ask for what I needed for healing my vision and ask for what I needed for my sight and insight.
7) I am grateful that I pulled an angel card that told me that I would be happy and that all will come into being as it should. I was even more grateful for the Angel of Power which says, "The Power of Divine Love protects and enfolds me."
8) I am grateful that when I surrender, I am empowered to do what I need to do for myself.
9) I am grateful for all of you.
Love Always,
Each Day is a New Beginning, so have a great one.
Today I am grateful that it did not rain. We've had rain for about 5 days. I'd love to send some of it to Atlanta!
I'm grateful that i have my 3 dogs.
I am grateful my husband has not drank since Tuesday.
I am grateful that I have 2 jobs that I love.
I am grateful that I can buy clothes, shoes, etc whenever I feel like it. I do need to start the tradition of getting rid of something when I bring in something new. I will get a box ver soon ad start weeding out.
