I want to personally welcome any newcomers to AEB!

If you are ALAnon or ACOA, I can help you with any qustions. I can't help with the AA/NA side of the program, but lots of great folks here can!

An important thing to remember...You are not alone. You dont have to face whatever is the problem in your life by yourself. There are many of us around who have been right where you are...no matter where that is.

Please hang around. Write questions. SHare your thoughts or concerns. Read and learn. There is a chatroom that is open 24 hours a day. I'm not sure it is "occupied" all the time just yet, but as we grow, I am sure it wil be.

Keep coming back! We care and we're here to help!

LIN

Thank you for posting Lin. I was in the middle of typing my comments when my internet went "POOF". Doncha just hate when that happens?

To the newcomers, welcome to the site and welcome to AA, NA, Alanon or whatever. There are many accumulative years of recovery on this site, as well as some with very little time and those who are just curious or just starting out. Here's the question.... How can we help you? Is there any advice we can offer? Is there something we can offer you in regards to our experience, strength and hope? Remember, there are no stupid questions. As Lin so profoundly said, we have all been where you are. Some more than once. lol So ask questions, make comments or whatever. As Lin also said, we are here to help.

Welcome newcomers and old comers. I come from both sides of the street and hopefully can help someone understand how this is a family disease. I am the daughter of an alcoholic father and a mother, who died form her food addiction. I was married to an alocholic, I have a son who is a self-admitted alcoholic, and I am a recovering alcoholic.

If you don't feel comfortable about posting, please feel free to e-mail me or send me a private message.

We only keep what we have by giving it away. Without you, there is no me.

Love Always,

Each Day is a New Beginning, so have a great one.
